Our activity in this sector is focused primarily on the US Asian immigrant populations. These represent an important component in the social fabric of the country, exerting both economic and cultural impact on American society.
Over the last decade we have worked with many US government agencies and non-profit organizations, helping them in such areas as:
- Understanding Asian families' culture, values and way of life in the US
- Determining the needs of under-privileged Asian groups
- Probing the relationships and generational issues between immigrants and their US-born children
- Racial issues
- Medical needs
The Asian groups we have covered in these studies include the Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese and Filipinos.
Our strength in this sector is founded both on our ability to reach low-incidence target audiences through our experienced in-language fieldworkers, and on the relationships we have built with local Asian communities.
We have enjoyed working on numerous, rewarding social research projects for such clients as The Office of National Drug Policy (ONDCP), Center of Disease Control, Medicare Office, 9/11 Disaster Relief Fund, Beth Israel Hospital, Columbia University, New York Downtown Hospital and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
